Erford Whaley

Erford H. Whaley, 96, died at Chardonnay Assisted Living in Twin Falls, Idaho. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Erford was born July 17, 1919 in Sherburne New York to Erford E. Whaley and Gladys V. Huntley. On June 28, 1946 he married Virginia Dewey in Binghamton, New York. Erford was a World War II Veteran serving as a meteorologist in the Army Airforce. When first married he was a weatherman and then changed jobs and became and an insurance agent for Nationwide until he retired. Erford was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, who passed away April 24, 2007. Surviving him are his children, Margaret (Francis) Wilcox and Vincent (Leslie) Whaley; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 nephews. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. We would like to thank the staff at Chardonnay and Hospice Visions for their dedicated care in behalf of our dad.
