Mary Adeline Rader

March 20, 1920 — August 31, 2015

Mary Adeline Rader, age 95, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at RiverRidge Care Center on August 31, 2015 of complications of Alzheimer's. Mary was born in Wylie, Texas on March 20, l920 to Ben Gunter and Cora Cathey Gunter. Her Mother became ill and Mary was raised by a half-sister, Nora Long and her husband George. In 1938, Mary married J.A. (Bo) Stout and in 1939 their daughter Mary Ann was born, followed by a son, James Barton (Jim) in 1941. Their family moved to New Mexico in 1942 where they both worked on farms until they moved into town. They had a friend who taught Mary the clothes dry cleaning business, which she worked at until she was 70 years old. Bo died in l969 and Mary married William Rader in 1976. Bill had two children, George and Linda, whom Mary loved like her own. Bill died in 2004 and the following year, Mary moved to Twin Falls to be with her daughter. Mary loved working in her yard and flowers, she loved fishing, and she was a devoted member of the Southern Baptist Church of Roswell. She also loved making her children and grandchildren laugh which she did easily by just being herself. Mary was pre-deceased by her husbands Bo Stout, Bill Rader and her son Jim Stout. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (John) grandchildren Lisa Wagner, Linda Emberton, Sheri Stout and Jimmy (Debbie) Stout, great grandchildren Allison and Andy Habel, Brittaney Madron and Mikayla Emberton. Also surviving are stepchildren George Rader, his children Chris and Samantha; Linda Meisner,and her children Josh and Amanda. Visitation will be at Ballard's Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a grave-side service at 2:00 p.m.
