LaNelle Cobeaga

LaNelle Cobeaga of Filer, Idaho slipped quietly into the arms of her heavenly family on August 10th, 2015. Her husband Phil was lovingly by her side. LaNelle was an icon in the Filer community. She held multiple positions at the Filer School District as a school bus driver, substitute teacher, and lunch cook. If you grew up in Filer, you KNEW LaNelle Cobeaga! She was kind, generous, funny, opinionated, hard working, loving and an amazing cook. She knew no strangers. We will miss her forever. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Phil Cobeaga, daughter Teri Reid (Brett), son Anthony Cobeaga (Darla), and son Tobin Cobeaga. She had 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services for LaNelle will be held Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the Filer Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 841 W. Midway, Filer, ID. Visitation for LaNelle will be held Saturday, from 9:30 -10:15 at the Church with Interment following services at the Filer Cemetery, Filer,ID. All Services are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls,Idaho.
