Robert Preston O'Connor

Robert "Bob" Preston O'Connor, 67, Twin Falls, passed away May 8, 2015 at his residence from Pancreatic Cancer. He was born on July 26, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan to Robert Floyd Cox and Doris Irene Durbin. Robert married Karen Sue Johnson on August 31, 1965, they later divorced. He married Beulah Horvath on November 25, 1995. Robert served his country for 8 years in the Army, this included two tours in Vietnam. He was later stationed in Okinawa, Japan; Germany, Oklahoma and California. He retired from K & T Steel in 2009. He was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to hunt, fish, go camping and rock hounding. But he mostly loved spending time with his family. Robert was a loving husband, father brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him. He will be missed for a very long time, but will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever. Enjoy your magic carpet ride, we love you. He is survived by his wife of 19 years; Beulah; his children, Brandon (Meagan) O' Connor, Robyn (Scott) Wayment, Lisa (Jerry) Dutt, and Patrick (Cass) Blunt; his grandchildren, Makayla (Bryan) Gayer, Rylie, Grace and Avery O'Connor, and Raini Spencer; his sisters, Jeanette Martinez and Callie O'Connor; and his faithful dog, Elvis. Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Irene Durbin; his father, Robert Floyd Cox; step-father, Raymond Philip O'Connor; grandmother, Margaret Durbin; grandfather, E.P. Durbin; uncle, Bill Durbin and brother in law, Jose Martinez. There will be a Celebration of Bob's life on Thursday May 14, 3:30 P.M. at 1960 Shoup Avenue East. Please come celebrate his life.
