W. M. Karl "Billy" Benkula, loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and husband of Pat Benkula, his wife of 39 years, passed away April 30, 2015 at his home in Twin Falls, Idaho. Also surviving are his three daughters, Kelli (Kevin) Pierce, Karla and Karina, two sons, Del and Alfred, nine grandchildren, Branden, Harlee, Grace, Emma, Seth, Sarah, Anna, Kamrron and Zachary. One sister, Vicki House and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Coolidge, Arizona, February 18, 1938 to Delbert and Minnie Pisano Benkula, he graduated from Murtaugh High School. He served four years in the United States Air Force and then spent 50 years as a hairstylist. Throughout his life Karl formed many friendships within the community. He enjoyed dancing, listening to all genres of music and traveling with his wife and family. Karl was always ready to give hugs, listen and be the life of the party. Karl is now joined with his mother, Minnie, father, Ben and siblings Albert Benkula, Cecilia Sharp, and Carmen Craig. A Celebration of Karl's life will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 11 AM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, ID. Private Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Twin Falls, Idaho.
