Many summers were spent taking his kids, friends, and family members hunting, fishing and camping. In more recent years, he joined the Southern Idaho Muzzleloaders Association and loved the time he spent with friends camping and shooting black powder guns. He was also a long time member of the Twin Falls Monarch Lions Club where he received the prestigious Melvin Jones Award. Dennis was in and out of the hospitals from Nampa to Twin Falls for the last 5 months, as he was fighting to come home to the love of his life and family. It was a brave fight and there were some amazing people the family met along the way. The list is long and there are too many to thank individually. The family would like to thank all the kind hearts and wonderful spirits that cared for Dennis. He finally came home to the Twin Falls Care Center; where the staff and Idaho Home Hospice, made him feel welcome and loved. It was there, where he passed in peace.
