Doris Jean Tidquist, 86 passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Twin Falls Center with her family by her side. She was born August 13, 1928 in Greeley, Colorado to Russell and Mary Alice (Cozad) Martin. She grew up and attended school, graduating from Greeley High School and then moved to Hazelton, Idaho with her family. She met Clinton Tidquist, in Greeley. He followed her on his Harley to Idaho and they were married June 1, 1949. They farmed for several years and after they quit farming, she went to work at Idah Best in Twin Falls as a bookkeeper. She worked as a bookkeeper until she had to retire because of health issues. Doris and Clinton moved to Caldwell for quite a while, before moving back to Twin Falls to be near their daughter. She loved going to all activities her daughter and two grandsons were involved in. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, rodeos, camping and she adored having her family around her. Surviving Doris are her daughters, Carolyn (Wade) Glenn of Twin Falls, ID; and Micki Tidquist of Denver, CO; two grandsons, Chris (Alisha) Glenn and Daidan Glenn of Nampa, ID; and David (Korrina) Glenn and Caden and Caleb Glenn of Hamilton, OH; also surviving is her sister, Jackie Christopherson of Payson, UT. Her husband, Clinton Tidquist, her parents, one brother, John Martin and one sister, Judy Ann Hopkins preceded her in death. Funeral Services for Doris will be held Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho with Pastor Jim Hardenbrook officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, March 23, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home and Burial will be held following services at the Twin Falls Cemetery, Twin Falls, Idaho.
