Doris Hendrix

Doris Cole Hendrix, 73, of Twin Falls passed away March 6, 2015 at her home after a valiant battle with cancer. Doris was born August 3, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Harry and Ann Cole. Doris attended Twin Falls schools. She loved all animals and birds, especially hummingbirds. She enjoyed pinochle, cribbage and dominoes. She has always been an amazing cook and immaculate housekeeper. Her family and home has always been her main priority. Doris and Harvey have been married 55 years. They have had three children, daughter - Rhonda, son - Kelly, & - Kevin. Kelly and Rhonda preceded her in death, along with her parents and half-brother, Dennis Dobbs. Doris is survived by her husband, Harvey of Twin Falls, son, Kevin of Twin Falls, grandson, Philip Madrigal of Jerome, great grandsons, Dalton and Lincoln Madrigal of Jerome. Also surviving are her sisters, Marlene DeWeese of Twin Falls, Barbara (Jim) Kelly of Twin Falls, Lillian Clayton of Jerome, twin sister, Doloris (Raymond) Meyer of Kennewick, Washington, Donna (Richard) Meyer of Kennewick, Washington, stepsister, Cloreen Heck of Twin Falls. Special friends, Ken and Shirlene Taylor of Caldwell, ID & two special young men very dear to her, Mike Courtney of Kimberly and Brandon Harkness of Blackfoot, ID. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services for Doris will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, ID. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. All services and arrangements are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
