Gary Lynn Stough

Gary Lynn Stough, 66, of Wendell passed away February 15, 2015 at his home, surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born April 27, 1948 to Jim and Marjorie Stough. Gary grew up in Quincy, California, and joined the Navy, serving in Vietnam. After his discharge, he met and married Joyce Barton. Together they raised two children, Rick Barton of Wendell, and Kim Stough of Anchorage, AK. The family moved to Idaho in the late 70's. They lived in Alaska from 1983 to 1995, when Gary returned to Wendell. He loved racing cars and riding motorcycles, and was an active member the Snake River Bro's motorcycle club, then the Veterans of Freedom motorcycle club. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce, and his brothers, Carl Stough and Bruce Stough. He is survived by his children, Kim and Rick, and his brothers Randy Stough and Tommy Stough, as well as six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Gary will be greatly missed by his friends and family. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Wendell City Hall Veterans Memorial, 375 1st Ave. East in Wendell.
