Diana Gray-Brice was born June 25, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah following a panicked drive from Wendover, Nevada by her parents A.R. (Bud) and Barbara A. Gray. She died peacefully in her home in Hagerman surrounded by family and loved ones on February 16, 2015. Diana enjoyed watching the various wildlife that visited her backyard every morning with her loving partner James (Jimmy) Boyle. She loved to read, doing puzzles on the patio, eating good food, listening to music, fiber arts including crocheting, knitting, and weaving. She loved quilting and sewing. Diana was always on the hunt for the perfect vintage item. She loved shooting her black powder pistol. Diana was an avid pickleball fan where she loved to cheer on Jimmy during his matches. Following her retirement from Filer School District where she worked as paraeducator, she moved to Hagerman Valley where her parents had lived for many years. She loved following her former students successes after their graduation. She is preceded in death by her parents Bud and Barbara, husband Daniel Brice, and sister Mary West. She is survived by her children Brad (Melodie) Smith, Suzann (David) Brock, Angela Ainsworth, and Ann-Marie (Mark) Cushing. She was the loving grandmother (Grammie) to all her grandchildren: Aaron, Kylie, Matthew, Patrick, Catie, Amanda, Matthew, Josh, Zack, Bryce, Megan, and Miranda. Her favorite niece Heather Blomquist and Diana's sisters Anita and Krystina also survive her. Sally and Geoff hold a special place in her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the St. Luke's Hospice.
