Judy Marie Cohee; a 70 year old Rupert resident passed away January 24, 2015 at the Twin Falls care center. Judy was the eldest child of Carl Anthony and Eleanor Mae Muegerl. She was raised on a farm in Filer and later moved to Murtaugh. Judy was her dads hired hand as she would always say. She graduated Murtaugh high school with a total of 10 classmates. After graduating from high school, she planned to going on to beauty school; she started working at Ore-Ida foods to save money, but she met a wonderful man there named Robert Leon Cohee. They dated a short 6 months and were married on December 12, 1964. Judy then moved to Missouri with him while he served the country. They later moved back to Rupert where she resided for 41 years. They were married for 12 years thinking they would never have children. In April, 1976 she found out they were expecting. They were the best parents any child could ever wish for. Judy loved being a mother and especially being a grandmother to Christian and Kylie. Taking them where ever they needed to go. She has lived the last 12 years by herself when she lost Bob on January 27, 2003. In those last 12 years it was all about the grandkids. She loved to go camping, fishing, scrapbooking, and attending any and all events for the grandkids. You could count on her to be there. Judy is survived by her daughter Teresa Cohee, grandson Christian Cohee , and granddaughter Kylie Monteith, her brother Max Muegerl ,and uncle Eddie Muegerl ,and aunt Mildred Britt and numerous cousins and nieces. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Bob Cohee and her parents Carl and Eleanor Muegerl.
