Valda Lee Post Walker 1930 - 2015 Valda Lee Post Walker, 84 went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 22, 2015 after suffering a short illness. Valda was born to Oscar Lee Walker and Lucy LaVada Washington Walker on April 28, 1930 in Matador, Texas. Before moving to Twin Falls, she resided in Roseburg Oregon where she met her future husband Benjamin Post. She married Ben on April 17, 1976 at the Twin Falls Salvation Army church. Valda and Ben were married for 39 years. Valda's only job was babysitting her nieces and nephews and many other children who brought happiness into her life. Her hobbies included gardening, taking care of her plants and flower garden. She also enjoyed collecting owls of which she had over 156 at the last count. Surviving Valda is her loving husband Ben Kimberly Idaho, two sister-in-laws, Bonita Schults of Coos Bay Oregon, and Ella Lancaster of Twin Falls, ID; brother-in-laws, Robert Post of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Victor Post of Murtaugh, Idaho; R.M. Walker of Kansas, Clyde Walker, Thomas Walker, Orval Walker and Elizabeth (Liz) Warner all of Oregon and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents, two siblings, her in-laws, Edison Guy and Florence Sweet; two brother-in-laws, William Post and Bernard Post, grandparents, & great-grandparents all preceded her in death. Visitation for Valda will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Parks Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, ID 83301. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kimberly Church of the Nazarene 3550 East 3750 North, Kimberly, Idaho Interment will be held following services at the Twin Falls Cemetery in Twin Falls, Idaho.
