Robert Lavern Klemann, age 76, died on January 8, 2015 at Alpine Manor in Kimberly, Idaho. He was born May 27, 1938, in Pierre, South Dakota to Ted and Mary Klemann, oldest of two children. Robert grew up on a ranch and attended High school in Pierre, South Dakota and later served in the National Guard. Robert married his lifelong wife, Karen in 1958 and had three boys Craig, Brian and Chad. Robert (Smokey) had a long career as a Boilermaker Welder working on power plants through out the central/western United States and retired in 1996. Robert loved the great outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and riding ATVs. He loved the opportunity to be with family and friends so he could tell stories, he loved to talk. He also was a big Boise Bronco and Minnesota Viking fan as could be seen by his shirt on any given day. Robert is survived by his wife Karen, children Craig, Brian (Tamie), and Chad (Lori), grandchildren Mandy, Sydney, and Hunter and great -grand children Brody and Brooklyn, brother - Bill (Kathy), nieces Paula, Kayla and nephew Tony. Robert will be severely missed by his family and friends. Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday January 13, 2015 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd. Twin Falls, Idaho.
