Mary Elizabeth Miller Hoag died January 4th, 2015. She was 82 years old. Mary was born in the beautiful mountain town of Bridgeport, California. She attended California State University, became a teacher then a secretary at the Forest Service, and in 1960 she married her boss, Robert (Bob) Francis Hoag Jr from Tully, New York. Mary and Bob moved to Twin Falls Idaho in 1965 so Bob could continue his career in the Forest Service. Mary loved the outdoors. She was a Twin Falls tennis champion, and enjoyed many outdoor activities including downhill skiing, water skiing, and kayaking. Mary enjoyed dancing, travelling, and loved to attend ice shows at Sun Valley. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Twin Falls, and was an animal lover - especially cats. Mary is survived by her husband Bob Hoag of Twin Falls; brother Kenneth Miller of Bridgeport, California; brother William Miller of Ridgefield, Washington; daughter Teresa Lane (husband Wylie) of Heber City, Utah; daughter Susie Davis (husband Glenn) of Napa, California; and granddaughter Jolie, also of Napa. Services will be held Saturday, January 10th at 10:00 AM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home.
