Thomas A. Coberly

Thomas Allen Coberly, 76, of Twin Falls, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family on December 26, 2014. He was born on May 29, 1938 in Tacoma, Washington. the son of Earl and Florence Elvron Coberly. In June of 1967, he married the love of his life Arlene Dildine. This union produced seven children. In his younger years he worked as a cook, he then went on to work on Tug Boats, as a shuttle driver and security officer. Thomas enjoyed fishing, bowling and putting together puzzles. Family was import to Thomas, he loved to tease his grandchildren, and took great pride in always providing for them. Surviving are his wife - Arlene of Twin Falls, sons - William of Tacoma, WA, Terry of Twin Falls, Thomas of Twin Falls, Shawn of Twin Falls, daughters - Tami Girten of Federal Way, WA, Dawn Weatherford of Twin Falls, Brother - Raymond of Tacoma, WA, sister - Delores Thomas of Olla, WA., along with 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Barbara Shurbert. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. Military honors will be offered by the Magic Valley Veterans and Auxiliary. Inurnment will follow at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
