Robert Roy Skeen, 64, of Hansen, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on November 20, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 29, 1950 in Twin Falls, Idaho the son of Wayne and Marian Bach Skeen. He attended schools in Twin Falls, and following his education he was drafted in the US Army. Robert worked as a mechanic while in the service, being stationed in Germany during the Vietnam Conflict. He return to Idaho following the service and worked for Musser Seed for over 15 plus years. Upon their closing he work for Universal Frozen Foods, Charmac Trailers, Norco Windows, Solo Cup and finally retiring due to medical reason from Jayco Trailers. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, arrowhead digging, camping, riding his four wheeler, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed his constant companion Dolly his Shih Tzu, they were inseparable. His grandchildren were also a highlight of his life. Surviving are his mother Marian Skeen of Twin Falls, wife - Brenda of Hansen, children - Bobby C. (Erica) Metts of Kimberly, Brandy Jo Skeen of Wendell, Benjamin (Rachael) Skeen of Twin Falls, Tristan Skeen of Twin Falls, Brothers - Vern (Dallas) Skeen of Twin Falls, Sister - Linda (Don) Hanson of Aloha, Oregon, Mickie (Roger) Matthews of Boise, LaDonna (Jack) Holbrook of Fairfield, California, Mary Jo (Shawn) Sauer of Kimberly, along with numerous nieces and nephews, Six grandchildren - Samantha Metts, Timothy Metts, Breanna Skeen, Damian Skeen, Mason Skeen and Kayana Skeen, along with his loving companion Dolly. He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Skeen, brothers - Mike Skeen, Russ Skeen and sister - Renetta Skeen. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home. 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls.
