Dale W. Read

Dale W. Read, 80, of Twin Falls, passed away November 20, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 11, 1934 in Buhl, Idaho the son of Claude and Helen Rose Read. He attended Castleford High School and when his schooling was completed he worked on farms and later became a truck driver. On December 3, 1956 he married Shirley Kelley, to this union were born seven children. They later divorced in 1982. He then married Ramona Tiffany on February 14, 1984, together they enjoyed 30 wonderful years. Dale drove truck for Roger Wagner Trucking, retiring after many years of service. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He was a very good mechanic and had a talent for identifying most make and model of any car. Surviving are his wife Ramona of Twin Falls, son - Troy Alan (Carol) Read of Battle Mountain , Nevada, Tracy Lee (Cris) Read of Denver, Colorado, Timothy Dale (Laura) Read of Twin Falls, daughters - Cheryl DeArmond of Twin Falls, April Suzette Park of Golden, Colorado, stepdaughters- Gloria Stuart of Twin Falls, Linda (Chancellor) Gummow or Twin Falls, Son In law - Douglas Cash of Wiley, CO, Brothers - Earl (Shirley) Read of Filer, Sisters - Evelyn Hiedemann of Salmon, Idaho, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son - Kelley Wayne Read, Daughter - Shirley Dalene Cash and brothers - Lewis Read and Harold Read along with Stepsons- Kenneth Leazer and Richard Leazer, and step daughter Debbie VanOstorn. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, with the Reverend John Sanders officiating.
