Dana Pruett

Dana Kevin Pruett, 53, Filer, moved on to his reward in Glory, Monday, November 10, 2014. Dana was born January 3, 1961 in Los Angeles, California to Marie (Wert) Pruett and Donald C Pruett. He lived in the Los Angeles area until he moved to Idaho in 1984. He met Christie Butler in a church service at Buhl Calvary Assembly of God and they were married on March 21, 1987. Their daughter Kindra was born on April 29, 1988. Kindra was the apple of her daddy's eye. He loved her voice and loved to hear her sing. Dana was a NASCAR fan, he loved racing and the good times he had at the race track. He loved camping and 4 wheeling with his friends and family. He loved his CAN-AM and never missed an opportunity to let you know- "CAN-AM is the best". He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We love him and look forward to seeing him again. We love you Dana. Dana was preceded in death by his dad, Don Pruett. He left behind his wife of 27 years, Christie; daughter, Kindra; mom, Marie; sisters, Lynn Pruett and Donna Downs; nephew, Ryan D. Downs; in-laws Joe and Connie Butler, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Dana's life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Buhl Calvary Assembly of God Church, 110 Fruitland Ave. Pastor Keith Butler will be officiating.
