Joyce Arlene Gee

oyce Arlene Gee 71, passed away at her home in Hansen ID on October 24th. Joyce was born February 2, 1943 in Twin Falls, ID to Blake and Nadine Froehlich. She was the oldest of three wonderful girls. She was raised in Hansen her whole life until she met the love of her life Douglas Gee. Joyce was very involved in the Kimberly Christian Church where she played the organ, worked as the secretary and was an AWANA leader for many years. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and was an incredible cake maker. She always had a giving heart and seemed to fulfill that with food. She also loved planting and taking care of her roses. Joyce married Doug on July 5, 1961 in Kimberly ID. Her and Doug farmed with her father at the family place until 2000. Joyce leaves behind her husband of 53 years Douglas Gee, two children Brent & Holly Gee Eugene OR, Vicki & LeRoy Baxter Hansen ID, three grandchildren Mickenlie Baxter, Hansen ID, Blake and Kendra Gee Eugene OR. One sister Linda & Terry Butler Twin Falls ID and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by one sister Kathy Reeder, and her parents Blake and Nadine Froehlich. At Joyce's request there will be no services. The family would like to thank all of our friends and family for the outpouring of love at this time it is greatly appreciated. The nurses, Doctors and staff at St. Luke's 4th floor for taking such great care of mom while she was there. We would also like to thank the crew at Horizon Home Health and Hospice you all made her life just a little better. Memorials may be made in Joyce's name to Horizon Home Health and Hospice at 1411 Falls Ave E, Twin Falls, ID. Cremation under the direction of Parke's Funeral home. Condolences may be left by visiting
