Daniel E. Phillips, 58, of Twin Falls, passed away October 23, 2014 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise. He was born on September 18, 1956 in American Falls, Idaho the son of Elden Russell and Emma Mae Clark Phillips. In his early years he enjoyed spending time with his grandparents on their f farm. The family moved to Kimberly where he attended school. As a child he loved to make his bicycles look like choppers, this fueled a desire to join the Hells Angels. Following his schooling Dan traveled to California with the hopes to become a Hells Angel. After facing the fact that he would have to give up his family to join the organization he returned to Idaho. Dan farmed with his grandparents upon returning to Idaho, and eventually became well known as one of Twin Falls' best carpet installers. Dan enjoyed the horses that his grandparents always provided for summer entertainment. He was a dedicated Father who made sure his son Austin (Boy Son) was well cared for. They enjoyed spending time camping and rolling rocks down from the top of the mountains. Kids were a big part of his life and he often included Richard & Frank Tucker (who was like sons to Dan) and family on those extended outings. His generosity and lasting friendships were his trademark. He loved his long thick hair and was very proud of how it looked. His family often asked how he could have such a big giving heart in his little tiny body. Surviving are his sons - Austin Phillips of Twin Falls, Richard Tucker of Twin Falls, Frank (Michelle) Tucker of TN, parents - Elden and Norene Phillips of Kimberly, brothers - Russell Phillips of Kimberly, Kenney (Teresa) Huber of Colorado, sisters Trieste (Mike) Walker of Twin Falls, Susan (Nick) Baca of Windsor, CO, Sheila Wildman of Twin Falls, Tory (Mike) Lee of Kimberly, Beth (Chris) Adamson of Kimberly, along with a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother - Emma, Wife - Tina, and grandparents Frank and Lauretta Phillips, Dallas and Vanda Mason, Sam and Alma Clark.
