Katherine (Kay) Elizabeth Crom July 9, 1913 ~ September 18, 2014 Kay was the last of three daughters, born to Thomas and Ethel Harrison who came to Twin Falls in 1910. Kay was proud to be a life-long Twin Falls resident and watched it grow from a few houses into the vibrant community it is today. She was an avid bowler and bowled for more than 50 years at the original Bowladrome on Main Street - the Magic Bowl - and finally the current Bowladrome, including 50+ years on the Western Music team. She also loved baseball and closely followed the old Twin Falls Cowboys, the great American Legion teams and the Seattle Mariners. Kay worked for over 23 years for Mountain Bell as a telephone operator (" Number Please ") and then as the secretary for the office manager in Twin Falls until she retired. She was married twice, first to Harold Hoover and then to Stan Crom. Kay was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol M. Cross and is survived by son David A. Hoover (Jean) of Thornton, Colorado; son-in-law, Carol's husband Coy Cross II of Citrus Heights, California, granddaughter, Susan Monson of Daly City, California; four grandsons, Stuart Hoover, Darren Hoover, Daniel Hoover all of Colorado and Michael Monson of California, seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation for Kay will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 10:00-11:30 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID with Graveside services immediately following at 11:30 a.m. at the Twin Falls Cemetery, Twin Falls, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Elks Rehabilitation Ctr.600 N Robbins Rd, Boise, ID 83702 or any charity of your choice in Kay's name. All services and arrangements are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
