George Roich

George Roich July 13, 1929 - September 10, 2014 Heaven gained another angel on September 10, 2014, when George Roich passed at age 85, at his home in Twin Falls, Idaho surrounded by his entire family. George was born in Superior, Wyoming on July 13, 1929 to Mary and Nick Roich. He worked his entire life in heavy construction, managing concrete production and placement, all around the United States and internationally. He retired in 2002 for the fourth time. George was a mason and proudly served in the military in 1954. George married Helen Daune Truitt on January 7, 1950 in Whitney, Texas. They are blessed with two children, daughter Janet Susan Freitas (Joseph) of Twin Falls, Idaho, and son Colin Ryan Roich (Traci) of Flower Mound, Texas. Also, three beautiful grandchildren, Marissa Daune Freitas of Twin Falls, Idaho and Jacob Geordan Bryant Roich and Ryan Taylor Roich, both of Flower Mound, Texas. George is survived by his wife, Helen, of 65 years; son, Colin (Traci); Daughter, Janet (Joseph); and his three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Mary Roich, his two brothers, Peter and Nick Roich, and his sister, Ann Gaskill. Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID 83301. Burial will be in Twin Falls Cemetery immediately following services.
