Isabelle Ohlaug Lampe, 92, of Twin Falls, passed away on September 2, 2014 at Woodstone Retirement Center in Twin Falls. She was born on May 30, 1922 to Elmer and Nellie Hamilton in Nampa, Idaho. Isabelle was reborn thru her baptism in the name of the triune God in June of 1922, and is now home with her Lord Jesus Christ. She worked as a Nurse's Assistant at Shriner's Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She taught many kindergarten and pre- school children, and later worked at Twin Falls Bank and Trust until her retirement. While working at Shriner's Hospital, Isabelle met Joseph Raymond Ohlaug; they were married on December 13, 1941 and remained together until his passing in 1964. She later married Lavern Lampe on August 28, 1977 and remained with him until he passed away in 1988. Isabelle is survived by her son, Raymond (Peggy) Ohlaug; a sister Mary Walker and stepdaughters, Dorothy (Leonard) Kerbs and Gloria Lierman. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Nellie and Elmer Hamilton husbands Joseph Ohlaug and Lavern Lampe; daughter Susanne Roesler and sons in law, Dan Roesler and Ron Lierman. Also four brothers Robert, Glenn, Charlie and Richey Hamilton and two sisters Margaret Thomas and Ruth Jain. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2055 Filer Avenue East, Twin Falls, Pastor Roger Sedlmayr will be officiating. Private Inurnment will be held at Twin Falls Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers memorial be made in her name to Camp Perkins C/O Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2055 Filer Avenue East, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
