Sarah Barton Evans, 48, Twin Falls, passed away on August 14, 2014 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Hospital. She was born on January 8, 1966 in Martin, South Dakota to Carl and Carol Miller Barton. She worked at the Twin Stop on Kimberly Road for 13 years. Sarah loved her customers and enjoyed visiting with them, but mostly the hugs. It was those hugs and the way she treated them as friends that endeared her to the customers. Sarah enjoyed painting, crafts, scrapbooking, sewing, videography, and genealogy. When she worked on genealogy, she referred to it as "visiting with the ancestors". She is survived by her parents, Carl and Debra Barton of Elkmont, Alabama ; siblings, Shawn Barton (Jason) Stokes of Columbus, Ohio , Buffy (Jason) Hollis of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Leon (Desirae) Phelps of Colorado Springs, Colorado ; her significant other, Jesus Ortega; children, Jonathan (Ashley) Barton, Joshua (Karlee) Evans of Sioux City, Iowa, Sheena (Gregg Stone) Evans, Leanna (Jerrod McGrew) Evans, and Isaiah (Heather Rackham) Evans. Sarah is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sarah is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Miller Barton and one grandson, Timothy Eugene Jones. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday August 19, 2014 at Twin Falls Cemetery, Twin Falls Idaho, under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Springer will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm, Monday August 18, 2014 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls, Idaho.
