Clara Ella Presgraves 1929 ~ 2014 Clara Ella (Renfroe) Presgraves, passed away at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho on July 23, 2014. Clara was born December 6, 1929, in La Feria, Texas, to John and Bertha (Patterson) Renfroe. She grew up in several states, Texas, Florida, Alabama and California. She graduated from Colton Senior High in 1948. Her work experience consisted of mostly secretarial jobs, which included March Air Force Base, California; Goddard Space Flight Ctr., California; and the Department of Forestry, Bishop, California. On August 6, 1950 at Edgemont Baptist Church in Edgemont, California, she married the love of her life Frederick Randall Presgraves. From this union, six children were brought into the world, Brenda Sue (Watson) Presgraves, Melissa Jane (Short) Presgraves, Mark Randall Presgraves , Nancy Presgraves, Bruce Presgraves, and Heather Jamison. Clara had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very proud of all of them and spoke about them frequently. She had many hobbies. She loved fishing, dancing, reading, especially Mary Higgins Clark books; she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching CNN and spending time with her family. She was very loving, caring, giving. She would put others' needs above her own and she was always there with a comforting hug or a song and a smile. She also had a great sense of humor. Clara was very proud of her southern heritage and would say"Save your Confederate money boys, the South will rise again." She was loved by many and she will be dearly missed. Now she is an angel, pain-free, dancing and singing in Heaven. Her parents, John and Bertha Renfroe; five siblings, John Renfroe Jr., Newton"Tut" Renfroe, Robert "Clint"Renfroe, Douglas Renfroe, Nilda (Renfroe) Ellingson, five children, Nancy Presgraves, Bruce Presgraves, Brenda (Watson) Presgraves, Melissa(Short) Presgraves, and Mark Presgraves all preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Jamison, her sister Allie (Renfroe) Holland, nephews and nieces, Robert Ellingson, Faye Frerich, Linda Shinn, John Holland, Siouxzee Harper, JoAnn Holland, David and many cousins. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Ascension Episcopal Church 371 Eastland Dr. Twin Falls, Idaho.
