Helen Lucyle Simmons

Helen Lucyle Simmons, 85, Twin Falls, passed away July 7, 2014 at Saint Luke's Magic Valley Hospital. She was born on November 26, 1928 in Twin Falls to Girard and Vivian Andrews. Helen married George Simmons at her parent's house on September 2, 1946 in Jerome, Idaho. They later moved to California where she worked as an office manager for J.C. Penney. George and Helen returned to the area in 1989 after George retired. She loved being a mother and grandmother. Helen also enjoyed painting and doing crafts. She is survived by her husband, George; children, Michael (Anita) Simmons, Christine (Bob) MacDonald, Martin Girard Simmons, and Phillip Randall Simmons. Helen is also survived by four grandchildren and siblings; Richard (Judy) Andrews, Patricia Venable, Robert (Karen) Andrews, James Andrews, Mary Ida, and Rex (Mary) Hess. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Girard and Vivian; and a brother, William. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
