Leola Fay Gage

May 4, 1947 — June 29, 2014

Fay was born May 4, 1947 to Marion (Gale) and Mary Town Wood in Twin Falls, Idaho. She joined older sister Kay in the family. They lived in Jerome until 1950 when the family moved to Willows, California. In 1958 the family moved to Quincy, Illinois, and then to McComb, Illinois. In 1961, the family moved to Dietrich to be closer to family. Fay graduated from Dietrich High School in May of 1965, and on October 10, of that year she married her high school sweetheart James Gage. They moved to Twin Falls where they have resided since. They were blessed with four children, Jimmy, Lisa, and twins Jeffrey and Jeremy. Her great loves were her children, her Grandchildren, and her flowers. She worked at Save-on Drug store for 15 years where her greatest satisfaction came from helping her customers who quickly became her friends, as she was a friend to everyone she met. Her love of flowers led to many creative landscape designs in our yard and to the window boxes that greeted visitors to our front door for many years. Fay is survived by her husband James of Twin Falls, son Jimmy (Jennifer) of Beaver Creek, Ohio, daughter Lisa (Rich) of Puyallup, WA; son Jeffrey of Boise, her father Gale Wood of Gooding and her sister Kay (Richard) Pearl of Logan, Utah. She is also survived by grandchildren Sydnie Gage Johnson, Jordan Gage, Parker Gage, Noah Gage, Ricky Obrien and Danny Obrien, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her mother and our son Jeremy. The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice Visions for their assistance and compassion during the trying time. At Fay's request no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest individuals may consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name.
