Dorothy Turner Grisham Taylor, age 91, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014, surrounded by loved ones at Bridgeview Estates after a short illness. She was born December 2, 1922, in Murtaugh, the daughter of Dalphurd and Lillian Turner, she was the sixth of 10 children. Dorothy married Neil Grisham on May 10, 1941. They had two children, Stanley (Irene) Grisham and Janet (Stanford) Watts. Dorothy later married Gerald Taylor on September 28, 1974, who had three children Ron (Debbie) Taylor, Jerrine (Gary) Laudert and Lois (Bob) Short. Dorothy worked with her husband in the service and hardware business for many years. She also had a career in the banking industry working for years at Twin Falls Bank & Trust and retired from Wells Fargo. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by many. She loved gardening, fishing, camping, and keeping her house and yard immaculate. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Taylor, 3 children, 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one sibling, Leo Turner. She is preceded in death by her parents, two children, eight siblings; Thurman, Roy, Cordell, Delphine, Margorie May, Rufus, Kenneth and Grant, and one granddaughter. The graveside services will be held at 11 am, Thursday July 3, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Parkes Magic Valley Funeral Home.
