Lester Verne Bryan

Lester was born August 30, 1924, in Goodland, Kansas, to Frank and Maude Bryan. He passed away June 22, 2014. Lester, seventh of twelve children, lived and grew up in Loveland, CO where he met and married his first wife, Loraine Loudenburg. They had four children and resided most of their married life in Twin Falls. After high school he enlisted into the U.S. Navy where he served in the Pacific Ocean during WWII. He received an associate degree in business but worked most of his professional life for the State of Idaho Police Hollister Port of Entry. He was a member of the Twin Falls Masonic Lodge #45, an avid fisherman and gardener. Shortly after his wife's passing in 2004 he married Peggy Hillman. He is survived by his wife Peggy, sons Don (Doris) Bryan of Henderson, NV and Jay (Sharon) Bryan of Twin Falls; one daughter Mitzi (John) Morris of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by one brother, four grandsons, two granddaughters, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter (Deborah), wife, five brothers and five sisters. A memorial service will be held at Twin Falls United Methodist Church Friday, June 27 @ 10 a.m. Under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Twin Falls United Methodist Church organ fund. Online condolences can be submitted to www.magicvalleyfuneralhome.com.
