Kathleen Baker Randell

Kathleen B. Randell, departed on June 11, 2014 from an atv accident with her boots on, which was so typical of our tomboy mom. There is a hole in our family, a hole in our hearts, a hole in the hearts of her friends, but the Lord who heals holes has taken her home and given her life without end! She and her twin sister were born on January 26, 1929 in Oakley, Idaho to Simon and Molly Athea Lind Baker. On April 30, 1952 she married the love of her life Carl "Gene" Randell in the Idaho Falls Temple. To this union were born five children. Kathy (Vern) Babbitt, Donna (Gerald) Wade, Connie (Bill) Butler, Dwight (Gayle) Randell, and Robert (Julie) Randell. She also leaves behind her husband of 62 years "Gene" Randell, her children, two brothers - Simon and Norman Baker, sister - Rachel Fairborne, 21 grandchildren and 23, great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Kathleen enjoyed riding horses, raising chickens and tending her garden. She died while heading to irrigate her pasture. She lived life to the fullest and loved every minute of it. Even though she had an enduring love for the outdoors, family was the most important part of her life. She loved caring for her family, especially her grandchildren. Friends may call on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 11 to 12:45 at the Kimberly Stake Center. Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at 1:00 P.M.
