Betty Louise Gardner, 83, of Twin Falls joined our Father in Heaven Monday, June 9th. She was born in Garden City, Kansas on May 31, 1931 the daughter of Lemuel and Sally Rowe. Her family moved to Kimberly, Idaho in 1936. They lived across the street from the Kimberly High School where she graduated in 1949. Mom married our father Theodore Jr. Gardner June 27, 1948 in a double wedding with her sister Bernice at the Kimberly Methodist Church. They had three children: Jerry of Twin Falls (Chris of Hagerman), Ronnie (Christy) of Jerome, and Karen (Randy) of Twin Falls. Mom spent hours sewing, knitting, crocheting, and painting. These are just a few of her hobbies that we have many treasures to remember her by and will cherish for years to come. She loved to cook and spend time with family and friends over a plate of food she had prepared. Mom was always trying a new recipe from the library of cookbooks she had collected. In her later years, she worked at the Idaho Department Store, went on the road with dad driving truck, and worked at Costco's serving various food items. She is proceeded in death by her parents (Lemuel and Sally Rowe), older brother (Edwin Rowe), husband (Ted Gardner), and great grandson (Owen Beard). She has eight beautiful grandchildren, their spouses, and fourteen great grandchildren who will all remember Grandma Betty's love. Services will be under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Hom. Visitation for Betty will be at 9:00 am with her service at 10:00 am, Friday, June 13th at the First Church of the Nazarene with burial following at Twin Falls Cemetery.
