Virginia Ann Parker June 15, 1946 - May 11, 2014 Twin Falls - Virginia Ann Parker, 67 , of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away peacefully on May 11th, after a long battle with cancer. Virginia was born June 1sth, 1946 to Ethel and Herman Nice of Filer, Idaho. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Ken Parker, of Twin Falls for more than fifty years. They were blessed in their union with two children, Pamela Ann (Parker) Miller and Kenneth E. Parker Jr. Virginia attended Idaho State University and received her degree in Elementary Education. After teaching many years in Pocatello and raising their two children, Ken and Virginia relocated to Moscow, Idaho and four years later continued their education career in the International School setting. They worked in the countries of Kuwait, Brazil, China, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. During their overseas teaching period, they had the opportunity to visit and explore more than forty different countries and cultures. Wherever Virginia taught, her students were blessed with her kindness, gentle manners and encouraging nature, which fostered and instilled in them a love for learning. After retirement in 2007, Virginia and Ken continued to enjoy travel, golf, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Her beautiful personality and wonderful heart enriched the lives of all those she touched. She will be greatly missed. God received a blessed soul in Virginia. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jerry, Russell and Cecil Nice. She is survived by her husband Ken, her two children Pam (Joe) Miller, Ken (Cindy) Parker Jr.; her grandchildren Jocelyn Jimenez, Mat Peterson, Terron Parker and great granddaughter Mariah Jimenez. She is also survived by her siblings, Bette Wilson, Albert (Kay) Nice, Jim (Claire) Nice, Jean (Cliff) Franklin and Tony (Kathy) Nice. She is also survived by sisters- in-laws Karilyn Nice, Linda Nice and her mother-in-law, Leona Parker.
