Susan J. Jensen was peacefully welcomed into Heaven on May 2,2014 with her family near her side. Susan spent her life trying to make others lives better. She enjoyed caring for others and did so through working with home health and doing various odd jobs to help people who needed a little extra care. She was very good with people and was loved by all she cared for. Susan was an excellent cook and enjoyed to make large meals for family and friends. Sometimes, she would wake up at 3am and begin cooking and fill the house with delicious smells and wake the house up wondering what yummy things she was making. Her famous meatloaf and roasts, mashed and fried potatoes and cupcakes were always a huge treat. Susan was also very crafty. She was constantly working on a new craft. She enjoyed sewing, painting, ironing and most of all, loved her wood working. She would spend hours working on various wood craft and making rocking chairs, and even coffee tables out of clothes pins. She was very inventive and could make the most amazing things out of very random items. She was also a gifted piano player and enjoyed playing for her family. Among all Susan's talents, she was most of all, an amazing Grandma and Mom. She would always have some great adventure planned to do with her only grandchild, Shawn. He was the apple of her eye, and they would watch movies, make cupcakes and cookies, do yard work, crafts, and many fun things together. She loved having him over and would ask often for him to just come and "hang out", even if only for a few hours. Susan was a beautiful, talented, eccentric and amazing woman. She was loved by many and touched so many lives and hearts. Susan is preceded in death by her loving parents Dewaine and Betty Jensen. She is survived by her children, Erica (Jody) Fritz and Bill McLeRoy of Twin Falls. Her "adoptive" daughter Heather McLeRoy and Grandson Shawn McLeRoy of Twin Falls. She is also survived by her siblings Dee (Cynthia) Jensen of Kimberly, Mark (Linda) Jensen of California, Linda Mortensen of Kimberly, and Lori (Tony) Davis of Twin Falls. As it was Susan's wish to be cremated, Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Parke's Funeral Home.
