Sandra Lynn (Jarvis) Ulrich, 71 of Jerome, passed away on April 14, 2014 at her home in Jerome. She was born April 8th 1943 to Chester and Raymah Jarvis in Twin Falls. Her family lived in Kimberly until she was a freshman in High School. Her family moved to Eden in 1958 where she attended and graduated from Valley High School class of 1961. She went to work as a dental assistant shortly after graduation. She met Dallas Ulrich in 1963 and they were married July 17, 1964 and lived in Twin Falls where their first daughter, Shanna was born. The young family moved to Belgrade MT in 1967 and was living there when their son Wade was born. The family moved back to Hansen Idaho in April of 1968 where their daughter Bonnie was born. The family moved a few more times but ended up living in Castleford out beyond the Balanced Rock. They adopted Kenny a few years after moving and have spent the past 38 years on a farm where they raised various crops and cattle and other critters. Mom loved her horses and moving cattle with horses. She was an expert at raising the best butcher Chickens in the valley. She was an awesome 4-H mom and leader for 13 years. She was a first responder for the Castleford QRU. She has been a member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church since 1964 attending various churches. She has been very active in relay for life for many years. She fought a hard short battle with multiple cancers and died peacefully in her husband's arms surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Dallas Ulrich, daughter Shanna (Jeff) Breeding, son Wade Ulrich, daughter Bonnie (Wade) Rast and son Kenny Ulrich. She is also survived by her 8 lovely grandchildren, Megan and Samantha Breeding, Justin and Kendell Rast, Garrett Ulrich and Karisa, Kyler and Kirkland Ulrich, brother - Ron Jarvis, Russell Jarvis, Jerry Jarvis, Steven, Jarvis and sister Pamela Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters - Candy Blevins and Joy June Jarvis. A Celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Twin Falls.
