Mary Ann Kay was gifted with natural abilities, whether it was playing softball, volleyball, or later in life hitting balls on the golf course,she made playing look easy. Although cancer did not come easy for Mary, she lost her war to breast cancer after six long years of fighting on Saturday, April the 5th, 2014. Mary Ann was born on May 22nd, 1957 to the proud parents of Lillis and Gladys Gillespie in Twin Falls, Idaho. She Grew up In Idaho with her parents and three older brothers Joe, Tom, and Jack Gillespie. Mary Ann graduated from Twin Falls High in the summer of 1975. In 1976 she met the love of her life Dan Kay in Stanley Idaho at the famous "Stanley Stomp" below the Sawtooths. Mary Ann and Dan married a year later and then gave birth to there son Casey in 1979. Mary Ann attended the College of Southern Idaho and was employed at the United States Department of Agriculture working in Lab Analysis for over twenty years. She loved her job and made life long friendships with those she worked with. Mary Ann had a passion for the outdoors,she loved camping,weekend excursions,camp fires and drinking beers. She also loved golfing with her husband and dearest friends. Some of her most favorite memories were made on the golf course in the canyon, and trips to tournaments in Jackpot and Mesquite Nevada. Mary Ann Is survived by her mother Gladys Gillespie, Her siblings Tom and Jack Gillespie, her husband Dan Kay and son Casey Kay, and Nephew Joe Lemmon. Mary Ann's wishes are not to have a funeral or service but instead,to celebrate her life with good times and living everyday like its our last. Maybe a round of golf, and a beer around the camp fire
