Raymond Wayne Sargent 1957 ~ 2014 Twin Falls Idaho Raymond Wayne Sargent Ray went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Ray was born August 12, 1957 in Burley Idaho to Bill and Joan Sargent. He grew up farming in Murtaugh with his brother Steve and his sister, Carol. He graduated from Burley High School and Idaho State University. He then worked as a CPA in Helena Montana before moving back home and starting his own business. On November 13, 1981, he married Brenda Copenbarger. They have three children and eight grandchildren. Ray worked at ACME manufacturing in Filer, Idaho for 17 years. He started out in the accounting department and worked his way up to Company President. He was working for Watco Transportation as a Financial Analyst at the time of his death. When he wasn't working, Ray love the outdoors; fishing, hunting, hiking, camping. He had a passion for photography and has taken many beautiful photos, some of which he has framed. On April 1, 2013, Ray was diagnosed with cancer. He put up a courageous fight. But then he got a glimpse of Heaven. He told us all that he was going home to Jesus. He wanted all his friends, family and loved ones to know Jesus so that he could see them again one day. Surviving Ray is his wife Brenda, his daughter, Kayci (Chad) Montgomery, their children, Connor, Anthony, Kayli, Savanna and Ryli; his son, Matthew (Summer) Sargent, their children, Rebekah, Gabriel, and Ryan, and daughter, Tammy Sargent. Also surviving are his parents, Bill and Joan Sargent, brother, Steve (Linda) Sargent, sister Carol (Randy) Huether, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His maternal grandparents, Charles and Eunice Patterson and paternal grandparents Estle and Mabel Sargent preceded him in death. There will be a visitation with the family on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at the Heritage Alliance Church 401 6th Ave N, Twin Falls, ID. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Twin Falls Reformed Church 1631 Grandview Dr. N., Twin Falls, ID. A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at St. Luke's. Especially those at MSTI and the third floor nurses. Your caring went above and beyond the call of duty and Ray very much appreciated you. In lieu of flowers the family requests the contributions be made in Ray's name to a trust that is been established at the Idaho Central Credit Union - Poleline Branch, Twin Falls, Idaho.
