Alan Brent Johnson 1964 ~ 2014 Alan Brent Johnson, 49 of Hansen Idaho passed away at his home in Hansen on January 16, 2014. Alan was born August 18, 1964 to Walter B and Linda Barnes Johnson. He grew up and attended schools in Hansen, Idaho. When he was 18 he took his first job working at a bean factory and then worked for several different companies as well as being a firefighter for the Rock Creek Fire District for the past 25 years. When he wasn't working, he loved traveling the United States with his wife Mary driving truck, as it allowed him to see many things he would otherwise have missed. "He said it was like taking a vacation." And he was able to travel all 48 continental United States. His favorite hobbies included NASCAR racing, fishing, wrestling, and Canadian goose hunting. Alan was a member of the ASPCA and loved animals. He was very concerned about protecting the rights of Animals. He also loved spending time with family and being a Grampa to to his grandsons, granddaughters, and nine great grandkids. In his spare time he loved putting together their toys, such as tricycles and Swingsets. He loved spending time at the grandkids, they always made him smile. He was adored by his entire family and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving Alan is his loving wife Mary of Hansen, ID; Grandmother, Liz Johnson of Hansen, ID; Step-Son: Sonny Sonneland of Redding, CA; step-daughters, Barbara Wilkerson of Las Vegas, NV; Martha Pollmon of Tulare, CA; & Tabitha Stanger of Twin Falls, ID; his Brother: Rick Johnson of Kimberly, ID; his sisters, Suzanne Johnson of Jerome, ID; and Carole Keys of North Little Rock, AR; Also surviving are his 8 grandsons, 11 granddaughters, and 9 great grandchildren, four nieces and two nephews, 1 great nephew and two great nephews on the way. A Celebration of Alan's life will be held Friday, January 24, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID with Pastor Pat Branch officiating.
