Patricia Jean Cornelius

Patricia Jean Cornelius, 78, of Twin Falls, passed away January 14, 2014 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls with her loving family by her side. She was born Nov. 2, 1935 in Reno, Nevada, the daughter of Bill and Janelle Beecher. She attended school in Reno, Nevada. In 1954, she married Townsend "Mowsey" Elmo Cornelius. To this union were born three children, Jeryl, Donald, and Gary. Caring for her family was most important to her and she was proud to be a home maker during her children's formative years. She also enjoyed assisting and sharing her caring talents with those with special needs. Her last place of employment was at The Purple Sage in Twin Falls, where she loved serving people with mental illness. Patricia loved her dogs, gardening and her flowers. When she was not helping others she enjoyed crocheting, cooking spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her children - Jeryl McRill of Twin Falls, Donald (Kathy) Cornelius of Jermoe, Gary (Tracy) Cornelius of Boise, along with seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband "Mowsey", her parents, her brother - Bill Beecher and one sister - Cherrene Jacka. A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls.
