Susan Darlene Brown

Susan Darlene Brown 1946 ~ 2013 Susan Darlene Brown, 67 of Kimberly Idaho passed away at her home in Kimberly December 22, 2013. Susan was born December 11, 1946 in Burley Idaho, the daughter of Wilburn and Eva (Horn) Roberts. As a child she grew up and attended schools in Burley, graduating from Minico High School in 1964. She then went on to attend beauty school. Sue loved fishing, camping, travel, and anything to do with the outdoors. She also had fond memories of camping with her grandparents, the Roberts. Some of her favorite destinations were the Oregon Coast and the Redwood Forest with Tom Henson. Sue was a people person and loved spending time with family. She grew up in the LDS faith and family was very important to her. Sue also loved gardening and yard work. When Sue was not tending to family, or working around her home or garden, she was the owner and operator of Sue's Rainbow Lounge in Kimberly Idaho. Sue loved the Kimberly community and enjoyed doing business in the town. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Sue is survived by her daughter Monica Darlene Williams of Twin Falls, son, Keven Gary (Pamela) Brown of Rexburg Idaho, & daughter Melissa Sue Henson of Salmon Idaho, her brother, Joe Roberts of Heyburn, ID, her three sisters, Joann Ingram of Salt Lake City Utah, Linda Neilsen of Pocatello Idaho, and Shirley Haak of Pocatello Idaho; Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren and 2 great -great grandchildren. A Celebration of Susan's Life will be held Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls, ID.
