Barbara Carlson 1926 ~ 2013 Twin Falls- Barbara Carlson, 87 died Dec. 17, 2013 of natural causes. She was born Nov. 24th 1926 in Rupert Idaho, the daughter of Lester William Weaver and Evelyn Redford. She attended schools in Rupert and Lava Hot Springs, as well as telegraphy school for the Union Pacific Railroad. On August 4, 1946, she married Robert Carlson in Pocatello Idaho. She lived in Rupert, Lava Hot Springs, Boise, and Twin Falls. Barbara worked as a dental assistant for several years in Twin Falls. She was baptized a member of the LDS Church as a teenager, and she and Robert also attended the Full Life Family Church for several years. Her hobbies included fishing and boating. She also enjoyed playing cards and loved her grandchildren. Surviving Barbara is her husband Robert of Twin Falls, two daughters, Cindy Moore of Twin Falls, and Gaye Teuscher of Provo, Utah. Also surviving are her 6 grandchildren, Amanda Taylor, Spanish Fork Utah, Evonne Bak, Minnesota, Jennilyn Moore, Nampa, Leah Holloway, Filer, Ryan and Shawn Moore, Utah, and ten great grandchildren, Kinsie, Chelsie, Caitlyn, Jared, Jaxon, Liv, Cooper, McKayle, McKinzee, and Kiah. Funeral services for Barbara will be held Dec 23rd, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Full Life Family Church 123 Locust Street North, Twin Falls Idaho. Interment will be held in the Idaho Veterans Cemetery, in Boise, Idaho. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
