Renee Strom Bulcher, was born on December 25, 1928 to Emanuel Strom and Ella Erdman Strom in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She passed away on November 3, 2013 at the St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls. She attended Groton High School in South Dakota. Renee received her B.S. degree at Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen and her M.S. at the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley. Her major was Spanish, and she did an internship in Mexico. Her first teaching job was in Kimberly, Idaho, later transferring to Twin Falls High School. On June 27, 1954, she married Harold Bulcher of Kimberly. They raised four children; Twyla, Lori, Bret, and Kerri. Renee was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Harold. She is survived by her three younger siblings, a brother and two sisters who all reside in the Oklahoma City area. Renee and Harold were both Platinum Life Masters in bridge. They built the Magic Valley Bridge Center, teaching and enjoying the game. Her Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who survive her are Twyla, of Ketchum, Lori, her husband Larry, their two children and four grandchildren of Gooding. Her son Bret and his wife Lisa of Shoshone and their six children and ten grandchildren, and Kerri and her husband Ron of Henderson, Nevada. A visitation was held at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd, in Twin Falls on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 5 - 7 PM. Funeral services will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 464 Carriage Lane, North in Twin Falls, on Thursday, November, 7, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Following the church service she will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
