Larry Dale Utley

Larry Dale Utley Larry Utley, age 71, passed away at his home on Friday November 1, 2013 of heart failure. Larry was a long time resident of Twin Falls after coming to Twin Falls at the age of 7 from Los Angeles, California, where he was born. Larry had been a real estate appraiser for many years, working for American Real Estate Appraisal and later establishing his own business Utley Appraisal. Prior to the appraisal business he worked for Standard Oil and then owned and operated his own service stations in Twin Falls. Larry was a past president of the Twin Falls Jaycee Organizations, receiving many honors and making lifelong friends. He was also past president and organizers of the Snake River Corvette Club, which was so dear to his heart, the cars, the people and the many friendships that came from that association. Larry graduated from Twin Falls High School with the class of 1960 and then attended the University of Idaho. Larry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Colleen, sons Kevin (Shambra) of Twin Falls and David (Marcy) of Boise, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Paul (Barbara) of Twin Falls, his special canine buddy Sam, his mother-in-law Joy Craggs, brother-in-law Rick Craggs (Pricilla) and many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Carroll and Madge Utley, his older brother Jim, grandparents Elvis and Cleta Utley, Lizzy and James Reedy of Kansas. A memorial service will be held at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home at 2551 Kimberly Rd, Twin Falls Idaho on Thursday November 7th at 2:00 p.m.
