Luella Thompson, 77, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, October 9th, 2013, at St. Lukes Hospital of Magic Valley. Born February 5, 1936, in Twin Falls, Idaho, she was the daughter of Doyle Sligar and Laurle Drown. Luella is survived by her 5 children: Kathy Mathis of Kimberly, Idaho; John (Karen Thompson) of Rupert, Idaho; Richard (Julie Thompson) of Filer, Idaho; Mike (Wanda Thompson) of Kimberly, Idaho; Russell Thompson of Buhl, Idaho and grandchildren: David Mathis; Wendy Mathis; Chavez Mathis; Samson Thompson; Samantha Thompson; Charity Egland; Andrew Thompson; Tyler Thompson; Molly Watkins; Sarah Lee; Melissa Urrutia; Jason Thompson; Eli Thompson; Darrell Bridgeman; Angela Stiffler; Shyla Contreras; Julie Straubhaar; and 19 great grand children She was married to Herschel Thompson, who precedes her in death.In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her father, Doyle Sligar; mother, Laurle Drown; a brother Keith Sligar; a sister, Coleen Savelberg and a grand child, Steven Thompson. Luella was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, never failing to remember each and every one of their birthdays. She was a wonderful singer and a captivating storyteller keeping everybody entranced with her tails and voice. She was a woman who lit up a room as soon as she walked in, always having a full face of make-up and continually called people "precious" and saying I love you. She was quick to make fun of herself, and quick to build others up. Her boundless energy, laughter and humor will never be forgotten. Her love of the lord always showed through in her daily life and she would preach to anyone who would listen. Jesus, her Savior, will have many canvas' awaiting for our very talented artist Luella.
