Salvador Centeno, 58, of Kimberly, passed away October 6, 2013 at St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on January 15, 1955 in GTO, Mexico. Salvador came to the US to work and support his family. He was employed at Hollifield Farms as a laborer at the time of his passing. Salvador enjoyed hard work and being with his family. He was very outgoing and made friends with all who he came in contact with. His family was important to him, he had two children and lost his wife in 2010. This left him with the challenge of being a single parent to a teenage daughter, but the strength and love he shared with his wife guided him through the challenge and drew him closer to his son and daughter. Surviving are his son - Edgar (Carmen) Centeno, Daughter - Rebecca Cecilia Centeno, all of Kimberly, brothers - Alfonso of Buhl, Noe and Raul both of Kimberly, Antonio of Mexico and Carlos of New York, sisters - Mireya, Roselia and Alicia all of Mexico, and Socorro of Oregon, along with three grandchild in Kimberly. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 5 - 7 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd in Twin Falls, with a Rosary to be held at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Twin Falls, with burial following at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
