Betty Ann Crawford

Betty Ann Crawford, age 77, of Filer Idaho peacefully passed away at home in her sleep Monday September 16, 2013. Betty Ann Schuler was born May 19, 1936 in Selden, Kansas to Willard and Ruth Schuler. Soon after the family moved to Murtaugh, Idaho, where Betty attended school and met then married Charles Crawford on June 15, 1952 in Filer, Idaho. After a brief time in Champagne, Illinois, she returned to Filer, Idaho where she remained until her death. Betty raised four children and worked for Green Giant for nearly 20 years. Betty lived a simple but rewarding life. She was blessed with a unique since of humor and a passion for loving unconditionally. Her children and her grandchildren were her sunshine and her life. Betty is survived by her children: Cathy Powlus, Filer; Dave (Kathy) Crawford - Jerome, Mike Crawford - Twin Falls, Jeff (Penny) Crawford - Filer, Larry Allred - Wendell, her sisters Doris Jones - Shelly, Idaho, Lois Rice - Filer and Norma Wilson - Filer Idaho, as well as nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren and four step grandchildren. She was preceded into death by her parents Willard and Ruth Schuler and her husband Charles. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Park.
