George Wilbur Larison 1930 ~ 2013 George Wilbur Larison, age 83, of Twin Falls Idaho passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at home with his sister Donna by his side. George was born June 7, 1930 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Wilbur Don and Marie D. Holloway Larison. George worked as a cab driver for Twin Falls Cab Company in the late 40's. He drove truck for many companies including Jake Pope, where he drove from rodeo to rodeo hauling bucking stock. He also rode bulls and bareback broncs during this time. He hauled cattle for Marion McBeth out of Canada and Wagner's of Twin Falls. He drove tanker and end dumps and belly dumps for Bish Beemer, Peter Kewitt, & Western Construction Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and getting together for a "cold one" with friends. As a family friend and lawyer, the late Howard Jewell, once said "George had more fun per mile then anyone he knew, and as a truck driver, he put on alot of miles, and had even more fun." Surviving George are his two sisters, Donna Benkula of Twin Falls and Marion (Evan) Gines of Arizona, two sons Ron and George Jr., daughter Karla Rae, numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons Robert and Donald, daughter Georgia Ann and parents Wilbur and Marie Larison. There will be a Celebration of George's life, Friday, September 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID.
