Marjorie "Marj" Hogue, 95, of Twin Falls, passed away August 29, 2013 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. She was born on August 19, 1918 in Eden, Idaho to Grover and Roberta Bailey. During her life she attended eight years of school at Russell Lane, and three years at the Eden High School, graduating from Mackay High School in 1936. Marjorie married Wayne Hogue on April 2, 1938. They lived at Russell Lane and Jerome, moving to Murtaugh in 1944, where they lived for 52 years. Marjorie was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She was a beautiful seamstress, sewing for her family and several others. Her special interests included crocheting, cooking, working word searches, and gardening, especially taking pride in her flowers and roses. She taught Sunday school and worked faithfully in the United Methodist Church, and attended the Rock Creek Community Church since 1996. She and Wayne moved to their home in Twin Falls in 1996. She has resided at the Twin Falls Care Center since 2008. Surviving are her children - Ken (Judy) Hogue of Boise, Brenda Vittetoe of Pocatello, and Susan (Jim) Ferguson of McMinnville, OR, five grandchildren - Greg Hogue, Brad Vittetoe, Kandi (Mike) Kramer, Patrick (Melody) Ferguson, and Mandy (Spike) Olsen and nine great grandchildren - Tanner, Tatum, Elizabeth, Talli, Sadie, Caden, Blake, Lyala and Koal. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years - Wayne, son in law - Dennis Vittetoe, her parents, one brother and a sister. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 30, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls.
