Connie Larie Bartlett Connie Larie Bartlett, 51, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013, peacefully as the sun rose with her loving family by her side at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls of a sudden illness and a prolonged battle with Celiac disease. Connie was born February 2, 1962 in Jerome, Idaho, the daughter of Marvin Douglas and Carole Diane Stanger. The family moved to Sunnyvale California, where she attended grade school. Later the family moved back to Murtaugh, and then Jerome. She graduated from the Jerome High School in 1980. Connie married Scott Kenneth Bartlett on August 9, 1980 in Jerome. Scott and Connie are the proud parents of two children, Elizabeth Larrie and Keevan Scott. The family thoroughly enjoyed their time together, often traveling on weekends to their cabin at Magic Reservoir. Connie and Scott enjoyed NASCAR and together attended several races in Las Vegas and Phoenix. Her hobbies included Bunco with friends and cousins, making and designing beaded jewelry and camping with family and friends at two of her favorite places, the Stanley basin and Redfish Lake. Connie received her greatest blessing with the birth of her grandson, Bailey. He was her best bud and they spent as much time together possible. She is survived by her husband, Scott, daughter Beth (John) Browne of Boise, son Keevan of Twin Falls, sister - Becky (John) Novosel of Pocatello,brother Keith (Paula) Stanger of Jerome, sister - Pamela Luper of Jerome and brother in law Eddie Luper of Jerome, grandson Bailey, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, in addition to her numerous NASCAR and camping friends.Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke's, the Shoshone QRU, Jerome Police Deptartment and the employees at Idaho Power Company for their help and support. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Connie on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Rd in Twin Falls at 1:00 P.M. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.
