Luella M. Burgess

Luella M. Burgess, 87, a longtime resident of Twin Falls ID. died on Tuesday July 2nd, 2013 after a long time illness at Elie House Alternative Living & Therapeutic Farm. Luella married Elmo Burgess on Dec 30, 1941 in Fallon Nevada. They lived in Nevada until 1963 then moved back to Idaho. They owned the Magic Valley Mobile Homes and Marina in Twin Falls for many years. Luella loved to look after and protect her sons Ray, George, & Ralph. Her love for creation & animals was evident in the way she lived her life. A highlight in her life was the many fishing trips she made with her husband Elmo and her brother Murray Goold and his wife Betsy (now deceased.) She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and her husband Elmo of sixty years. Luella is survived by her brother Murray Goold, her sons Ray, George, & Ralph Burgess, seven grandchildren, Johnny, Penny, Butch, Becki, Irene, Susan & Sarah and many great grandchildren. Also her long time friend and sister in law Rayola Curry and her family and many nephews and nieces. We would like to send a special thanks to Jordana Bryan & her staff for all the loving care that they gave to Luella. Also for all the kind and loving help that Mike Parke and his staff gave us. Memorial donations may be given to the Twin Falls Humane society, because of her love for animals, this would be her wish. Her memorial service will be held on July 24th. at 10:00AM. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly RD. Twin Falls, ID.
