Muhamed Celikovic, 56, of Twin Falls, passed away on June 10, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Odzak, Bosnia on March 6, 1957, the son of Ramiz and Refika Celikovic. On June 23, 1979 he married the love of his life Nerfida Dzananovic. To this union were born two children. He and his family were separated during the Bosnian war. His wife and family transitioned to Germany. After being hurt in the war and his family being notified that he was dead, he defected and joined his family in Germany in 1993. They lived in Germany until 1997 when they returned to Bosnia until 1999 when they came to the United States. America offered a new adventure for Muhamed and his family. They shared many good times together. Muhamed was a friend to all, and he was always helpful and willing to help his many friends. He worked hard and eventually became a supervisor at the Char-Mac Trailer Manufacturing Company. Together he and his wife began living the American dream. In March he was diagnosed with cancer and fought a hard battle, but it eventually took him. Surviving are his wife Nerfida of Twin Falls, Daughters - Edita (Jacob) Egbert of Twin Falls and Melita Kosovac of Bosnia, brothers - Alminko and sister - Salima both of Bosnia, along with three loving grandchildren and one on the way. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd in Twin Falls.
